Justification behind the Research

The rationale behind this research is to assess the current laws which are made in relation to the national and international sale of goods. While assessing the current laws of national and international sale of goods, the need for the enhancement and improvement in areas will be observed. The purpose of this research is to make the businessmen or people who deal in national and international sale of goods aware about the important laws that already exist along with the practical implications related to those laws (Petar, 2001 Pp. 100-125). Further, this study will enhance the knowledge of all the people who deals in national and international sale of goods about their implied or contractual rights and duties.

The main assumptions of this research would revolve around the consequences people usually face because of the lack of knowledge about the appropriate laws that are relevant to their businesses. Basically, the purpose of this research is to correlate the significance of law knowledge and its impact on business. Moreover, the research also focuses on assessing the aspects which are neglected by the national and international laws related to sale of goods. It is also important to realize that the knowledge of relevant laws is extremely important in the international context more importantly. People who deal in international transactions might end up facing severe consequences if they are not aware of the relevant and appropriate international laws (Simpson, 1987 Pp. 1-30).

Knowledge about laws is extremely important and businessmen really need to focus on the international laws made in relation with the sale of goods. Companies and businessmen who do not focus on the knowledge of international laws before expanding their operations in the international market are prone to several conflicts and severe consequences as a result. The presence of conventions for the international sale of goods by United Nations makes it easier for the companies and businessmen to gain knowledge about the relevant laws and also to expand their international operations according to the relevant laws. Sale of goods is an important task. Companies and businessmen getting engaged in selling low quality and poor standard things are exposed to criminal consequences (Andre & Olaf, 2009 Pp. 300-319).

The significance of the study to the businessmen and companies is immense. The study will increase the awareness among companies and businessmen about the national and international laws related to the sale of goods. Moreover, this research will also increase the awareness among people dealing internationally about the significance of international laws (Collins, 2003 Pp. 125-130). Further, the recognition of the drawbacks that have not been catered in the international laws will facilitate the law makers and relevant decision makers to focus on addressing the challenges identified.
