Introduction

Ever since the creation of earth and birth of man, the world is undergoing constant changes. The man is in continuous endeavor to produce and discover something new. There is a hidden beauty in this constant change and development our world is enduring. It is this revolution that the world has managed to escape from the dearth of variety and does not look monotonous to us. During this endeavor of constant change and development, the mankind has been able to either invent or discover things that have changed the course of this world. Those inventions or discoveries have altered the way one use to carry out certain processes and procedure; both domestically, commercially and from defense point of view, and led the way to further developments and key productions. Science has to play a key role in paving the way for all the developments and discoveries. There exists no disagreement in the fact that these modifications, developments and discoveries have brought ease to our lives, especially household; however, the domain that caters to the household is totally different from the domain that mainly paves ways for enhancement in other sectors of our country. It is a common belief that everything that exists in the world or is produced by man does encompass some disadvantages and negative aspects, even if the main purpose of creation was to serve the mankind. However, the dominance of the positive or negative aspect of the creation totally depends on the discretion of mankind, in relation to its usage.

Nuclear Energy

As discussed earlier, that science has changed the face of this world over centuries. It is the science that has been able to discover all the essential elements, which paved ways for further developments and discoveries. Amongst those vital discoveries, is the discovery of the nuclear energy. On a broad scale, even the general public uses nuclear energy in several forms without even acknowledging it. The sole reason behind that is the fact that the masses are unaware of what actually nuclear energy is and how has it changed our society.

The general understanding of nuclear energy denotes the percentage or fraction of energy endured by an atomic nucleus that has the capacity of being released via fission or synthesis and even the decay caused by radio activity. In a broad sense, the nuclear reactions are the processes during which the matters are transformed in to energy. For instance, our sun and other stars are apparently unlimited and never ending origins and generators of energy, that limitless energy is deemed as the consequence of the nuclear reactions being taken place on sun and stars (Ferguson, pp. 114).

The sole generators of the nuclear energy are the changes that take place in the atom, mainly its nucleus, which eventually result in the nuclear reactions. These reactions and effects generate what we call as nuclear energy. Both the natural and artificial means that are controlled by humans are the sources of generation of the nuclear energy.
