2) Nursing science and art concerned with the individual as a whole - body, mind and spirit - and works to provide and maintain the individual spiritually, mentally and physically and help him to recover when he is sick and extends concern for the individual patient to his family, his community and this includes the care of its environment and provide health education through the instructions and the example

3) Nursing is a service designed to directly meet the needs of the individual, family and community in health and disease

4) There are many definitions to nursing, they all agree that nursing is the sum of the services given to individuals and their families to help them to maintain their condition natural or help them to ease the pain of organic and psychological services also nursing, may be the purpose of the prevention of the disease or to assist in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of complications

5) Nursing Services is to help the individual, whether sick or healthy to carry out its requirements based on the same day as far as possible he needs the power of observation to determine the needs of the individual (Ackley & Ladwig, 1999).

Nursing is a science and an art, has its own set of knowledge based on scientific theories and is focused on health and welfare of the patient.
