John Steinbeck was an American writer who became known for his epic novel, The Grapes of Wrath in 1939 for which he also received a prize. Other works include Tortilla Flat, In Dubious Battle, Of Mice and Men and The Long Valley. He is mainly famous for short stories and notification works.
