Outsourcing activities have been seen in almost every industry and at the present moment have been rapidly growing and the industry of higher education simply following the trend. Therefore, for such purposes, institution normally contracts the services to increase the efficiency of the services, decrease the cost, and the most important aspect is that it increases the income (Gupta & Gravley, 2004, pp. 77).

The main problem with the outsourcing is to look for the positive and negative effects on the quality of education and the students learning skills. Therefore, the main concern of the paper is to study the outsourcing of the Business department by the Najran University will be a positive step or not. In this regard, different areas of outsourcing of education, in terms of education outsourcing concept in the outer world, and the pros and cons of the outsourcing educational programs will be discussed to come to a suitable conclusion..

Background of the Study

In the recent years, Saudi Arabia witnessed an immense increase in the demand of educational facilities, and due to this demand outsourcing of the educational programs also have a positive trend. A latest research report, which was published by the Market Research.com by the name of 'Saudi Arabia Education Forecast to 2013' showed that the demand for eLearning modules basically derived as an outsource educational program is on the rising side linking with a healthy investment sector. Similarly, the extraordinary emphasis of the Saudi government towards the education and training showed that the government ready to invest in the educational sector because there was almost 33 percent estimated growth during 2010-2014 in the eLearning and outsourcing educational programs.
