According to a report, more than three-fourths of employees working in large companies on non-hourly basis are protected by performance based pay system.

Performance pay for teachers

Teacher performance needs to be defined for Performance-based compensation system. The objectives and goals of an organization need to be determined to understand teachers' role in the achievement of the targets. Incentives may be offered for a specific behavior of a teacher, like participation in training programs, contributions in underperforming schools, giving guidance and advice to younger teachers, or earning National Board certification. (Gratz, 2010)
