Drawing sketches of plaster model is my favorite hobby from my very young age and now I have acquired a high level of sketching skills. I felled in love with model cars later and was always in passion of sketching fantasy designs about model cars. These experiences enhanced my ability of spatial imagination and thinking also the basic understanding of static and dynamic systems. So I am quite good at solving mechanic problems. With the desire of becoming an engineer I am continuing my study and experience abroad as an international student. My simple destination of studying is to do some contribution to my hometown by using the knowledge I acquired. I have enjoyed studying applied mechanics and mathematics which help me to develop my problem-solving skills and enhanced my understanding the theories of different mechanisms. In the final year's design and professional skill course, my conceptual design was adopted by the team ranking first among all sketches. The optional course of computer aided engineering helps me understanding finite element modeling methods.

Engineering Background

I labeled this section as “Engineering Background” because even though MET is a technology major it is heavily related to the engineering field. And with that being said I believe I am heavily related to the engineering field through the several engineering experiences I have been associated with. During my junior and senior year of high school, even with the many extra-curricular activities I was a part of, I was able to devote my time and contribute my ideas to the Bloomington Robotics Club. The team consisted of high school students the same age as me and several adult mentors from various different technical and engineering backgrounds.

The basic goal of the team was to build a robot that could compete against other robots performing ...
