United States along with its coalition parties attacked Iraq in 2003, in order to destroy or get control over weapons of mass destruction. The initiative of the war came from the United States U.S. President George W. Bush, who had said on several occasions after the terrorist attacks in September 2011 that Iraq, Iran and North Korea were the "axis of evil".
