Political Propaganda in Thailand

Introduction

This concept is currently fueled by projections that the industrialized countries are headed for a big three-way competition between Western Europe, North America, Thailand, and for dominance in the global economy (Textor 347-60). Under this scenario, Germany, the United States and Japan will be the focal points around which the complex inside the economic sphere will occur. To do this, however, Thailand would take a comprehensive trade bloc and to identify their interests, respectively.

Discussion

Many observers doubt that Thailand is following this course (Ho 40-46). Given the currency triple polar geo-economic vision, however, it is important to understand better the prospects for the removal of forms of economic integration in the Asia-Pacific. The research study of trends in investment and trade in the region, but there is also a need for a broad consideration of the factors that may impede or facilitate the emergence of "fortress Asia Pacific region." This article discusses the important cultural, historical, demographic, political, and economic elements that may affect the establishment of formal, strongly integrated economic bloc in Pacific Asia. The analytical starting point is the European experience, as well as Western Europe, no doubt, took the greatest steps in the direction of the bloc under modern conditions. With reference to Europe that does not mean that the European experience offers lessons that can be directly transferred to other contexts. Instead, the European experience is recognized as a possible source of some important lessons about what forces that may affect the integration initiative.
