Introduction

Poverty is the name of problems. It gives birth to endless troubles such as a problem in having proper nutrition, shelter, clothes and other necessities of life. It is becoming hard day by day for poor to earn two ends meal. Poor is hatred by all in number of well structured and developed societies. It seems as a curse to born poor. Poverty is also the name of diseases due to lack medical facilities. Poor is out of reach of hospitals and physicians. The government and people should take steps to remove property. Poverty can be removed by number of ways, but no one is interested to take any action. In big and developed countries, we see big and critical issues, and poverty is also one of the big issues. With the rapid advancement in America, the rise of poverty is also negligible. The economics of America also affected by poverty. For development, we need changes. Development is the continuous process which can move the economics higher or lower. The purpose of this development is to reduce poverty. There are certain policies for the development process.

In United States of America, poverty is becoming a big issue. The situation is getting worse day by day. Nobody is putting an interest into this matter. People even do not know how to get rid of it. This is due to the lack of knowledge in people as well as the government officials. There is a variety of information but people do not know where to go to take this information and how to implement. There should be someone to guide in this regard. Media is also not playing good role and is not raising this issue. There are political issues which make this issue behind the scenes. The money which is to be fund is not sufficient as the number of poor is more than the money. There are human rights and social issues. According to Robert Nozik theory no body is interfering in other matters. People are free to live their life according to the way they choose. Instead, many people are dying due to non availability of food and house. People are following this theory, and they do not know that they are creating a disturbance in the economic development. If such system is being constant, then it will give adverse affect in the development.

Adverse Effects on Economy

America is the super power country and well developed and industrialized. It is giving the most capita than any other country. The government is spending $350 billion per year or about 3.5 % of the gross domestic products (www.waysandmean.house.gov). Though America is the biggest industrialized country, poverty is more than any other industrialized country. According to research, in the middle of 1990 the poverty rate of America was twice higher than Scandinavian countries, also one-third higher than European countries and Japan (Michael Forster and Mark Pearson, 2002).
