So to know the tastes and preferences of customers and their location, social class, education and occupation, among other things, may offer the products they want at the right price. This leads to increase sales and maintain customer satisfaction to achieve their preference.

The company & its marketing environment

The non-durable brand chosen for this project marketing is the tree oil brand of Body Shop. The Company chosen as a FMCG brand is The Body Shop Company in UAE. The products of The Body Shop are counted in the fast-moving consumer goods. There are different product types of The Body Shop that are bought and sold in UAE on daily basis. The product of The Body Shop selected for this study is the product line of tea tree oils. This line is very popular and commonly consumed by the customers. It is preferred by the consumers on a large scale. The Body Shop International plc is an international brand for cosmetics that is offering range of products for its customers (The Body Shop 2007, 1431).

Marketing opportunity

The new market opportunity of The Body Shop has been identified by the company by launching the beautifying oils. There is a vast variety in this line of product. This product is new anti-aging product of the company. This makes the company stay ethical to the community and especially attracts those who believe that the beauty lays skin deep. The beautifying oils of The Body Shop come under the ethical body products. One bottle of beautifying oil is for body, face and hair. It is a dry hair. The fragrances introduced in this product line are Cocoa Butter, Shea, Sweet Lemon, Satsuma, Strawberry, Mango, Coconut, Moringa, Pink Grapefruit, Chocomania and Olive.
