Proposal For Frission City's New Police Department

Executive Summary

Serving a varied, on the rise community of over 100,000 and a tourist population of over 25,000, the 240 proposed members of the newly formed FRISSON Police Department will face many distinctive challenges which we will be equipped to meet. The Frission Police Department will operate on a continual basis, presenting law enforcement services 24/7. As an official state agency, we will take pride in our standing as a specialized, progressive PD.

With the growing community, the Department will continually scan the external environment seeking new and improved innovations to enhance law enforcement services while not adversely impacting the budget. The Police Department will strive for excellence in service and continually train staff to add value to the law enforcement services provided to the community. Gradually, the Police Department will develop new systems for crime analysis and data analysis to increase the effectiveness of policing in the community. These new systems will include database management systems, technological improvements, information sharing meetings, etc.

The Police Department will also attempt to improve community relationships by developing partnerships with local residents and businesses through the offering of neighborhood watch groups, attendance at homeowner association meetings and other civic meetings throughout the Frission of Frission. The Frission Police Department will incorporate an agency-wide community oriented policing philosophy which will enable various units within the Department to work in teams. This will serve to increase communications Department-wide. The proposed Frission Police Department looks forward to continued inter-department partnerships and will look forward to maintaining the vision and strategy of Frission.

Mission Statement

A new Police Department will be made to replace the County Sheriff's office to serve and protect citizens of the newly formed city in Florida. This Department will be committed to working in partnership with the citizens to promote safety on the streets and neighborhoods, thus creating a community free of crime and to develop the quality of life of the citizens.

Value Statement/Philosophy

The Police Department services to the citizens are based on an model of value for the rights of each person. Department members shall preserve the utmost values of personal veracity and morals, and a sense of social communication that focuses on solutions for the general public and community problems. Our members will be trained to realize that all incidents and issues that may be crop up in the line of duty are to be treated in a manner that best exemplifies the principles of empathy and honor, thorough consideration, resolve, responsibility and accountability.
