Introduction

Proteins are defined as intricate organic amalgam which consists of singular or multiple amino acids which tends to be linked through peptide bonds. These amino acids are combined together in many different ways to constitute a three-dimensional molecular structure. There are various functions taking place within the living cells which are linked to the existence of protein in one way or the other. Proteins are categorized on their behavior, which terms to; define the functions inside the cells. Proteins are generally attached to a certain group, and, among such groups, we intend to study the group known as enzymes (Gary, 2002). Enzymes are those proteins which tend to speed up the biochemical reactions inside and outside of the living cell.

Enzymes are described as the significant and the largest cluster which tends to inculcate proteins, this group, however, is held responsible for managing the metabolic reaction within the active cells. Since the enzyme is a group associated to proteins, therefore, they too are composed of amino acids. Enzymes tend to be formed when around 100 to 1000 of them are linked together in various orders to form chains of different size and shape. The shape, which is formed, as a result of the chains tends to execute different reactions with the living cells. Reactions of a different nature tend to strike the cells depending upon it shape and size, , therefore, in order to understand the subject in further detail it is necessary to understand how does it manages to keep the information regarding different cells (John,1984).

DNA is responsible for keeping track of the information which tends to be genetic in nature as it consists on numerous genes. Among those thousands and thousands of genes, each gene is liable to craft out a protein fragment. The duty allocated to proteins is of very critical nature as they provide the launching pad to the cell functions. All the functions, which a cell, is supposed to perform are founded upon the job description of a gene. The effective functioning or ill functioning of the cell is linked the amount of information being provided to that particular cell by its corresponding gene. The amount of information tends to determine the functions of the cell as well as the required proteins in order to effectively conclude that the function. Since DNA stores and transports, the genetic information, therefore, its situation becomes highly critical, DNA tends to rest in the nucleus which is structured into chromosomes (David, 2005). Therefore, it becomes essential for every cell to control the genetic information, since every cell tends to have it; therefore, the duplication of it tends to happen even before the cell stands to be divided.
