The nature of the topic and the objectives is determined which research philosophy and approach is adapted. The research questions will be answered with the extensive analysis of the data obtained in this study by examining the research variables, leading to further development of theory which may be tasted by further research and this will lead to the creation of creditable data (Khan, 2011). Researches can be done through adapting either a deductive approach which starting by introducing theories and hypothesis then a process is taken place to examine them or applying an inductive approach which is concluded by formulating a theory or a hypothesis through observations. Moreover, it has been pointed out that one of characterizes of deductive approach is a tool to explain the correlation between concepts. Therefore, to achieve the aim of this paper, a deductive approach will be used to answer the research questions and quantitative research will be taken (Khan, 2011).

Research Design

The quantitative methods will be used in this study. The primary research will involve the data collected through secondary medium i.e. the annual financial statements of ten years from 2001-2011 along with questionnaire for the analysis of the study. Exploratory and descriptive research will be taken place in this research; exploratory research will conduct to find out about the topic. This can be done through conducting a search of the literature in the topic while a descriptive research will be conducted through running a survey. In order to do this in effective way, the survey will be depending on the find out that generate from the exploratory research. The survey will be done through questionnaire techniques which allowed collecting quantitative data which can be analyzed to generate credible data. Moreover, the data of financial statement will be analyzed with the help of statistical tool in order to find out the relationships between variables (Kothari, 2011).

Data Collection Method

This is a cost effective method of data collection and the nature of the study is based on the data of financial statement of the organization. In addition to financial statements, the employees will be given questionnaire for the collection of data related to the performance of management and impact of recession.
