Introduction

Mentoring is a process of support for the training of students as embodied by the personal attention by the teachers. A student or group of students in the task of supporting and monitoring will start to university life and focus on the acquisition and maturation of student learning by academics are competent and trained for this function.

Discussion

The purpose of writing this paper is to basically cover the areas of reflective learning regarding the professional requirements for the mentorship practice. Therefore, for this purpose, the author selected different practices and applications for the new comers who entered the medicine field. The paper basically highlights the role of mentor that integrates the practical and academic experiences with the students so that they could become effective professionals in near future. Thus, the author discussed some of the critical practices that would be beneficial for the students. In the first half of the paper, the author presented the evidence related to the measure of peripheral Blood Glucose using a Blood Glucose Monitor. The reason behind discussing is that it would promote the safe and effective use of glucose monitor pays the diabetic patients and it will also enable the students to properly guide the diabetic patients. Furthermore, the author covered the area of health learning environment, which would lead to the effective learning. In this part, the author highlighted different strategies that will help to promote the healthy learning environment. Moving on, the author also touched the area of taking BM result. In this part, the author provided literature how students could take accurate BM result and for this purpose the author discussed techniques of measuring BM result.

At last the author discussed the importance of effective mentoring within the organization because it creates a positive impact on the minds of the learners that someone is there who worries about them and always ready to support them in their hard times when they did not understanding anything.

The first practice activity selected by the professional is to teach the students regarding the importance of measuring blood glucose using a blood glucose monitor. Therefore, for this purpose, the author highlighted some of the critical steps that are necessary in this practice.
