Reflective Learning

Introduction

When reading the book of Leo Buscaglia, Living, loving and learning, I was able to reflect back on some of the experiences I had in my life that helped make me the person I am today, and I was able to look ahead at what I would like to become. I was able to see how well I know myself and what I have to offer to others. I was able to see things that I do not like about yourself and identify some of the ways I can do better. It's part of what is reflecting on his life and looking ahead, reading Buscaglia taught me.

Have you ever had a math teacher who sent you across the room to get help from someone else because he does not understand what he was trying to teach you? It can be quite difficult sometimes to get excited about something, if your teacher does not worry about it. These teachers have tried to give us what they had.

When I was in high school, I had another teacher who was trying to give us that she was not. She was a health teacher, but due to some drug-dependent, it really was not very healthy. It was sad, because it teaches us from the book that some drugs are addictive, and we must take care of our bodies. We knew that she knew this firsthand, because she was always on drugs. Many days she was so buzzed up to the teacher next door come to ask her to hold it down, because she cried, and not speak and did not even know. At other times she would fall asleep on her table while we watched whatever we wanted on ...
