Introduction

Religion is one of the organizations of socialization that has the most controversy.  It has the most leverage on how persons believe and reside their inhabits and it thus sways the broader society.  It does not issue what belief you subscribe to, the rudimentary components stay the identical for all.  Religion can be characterized as a scheme of convictions and practices via which an assembly of persons labors with the supreme difficulties of human life (Haralambos, 2000).

Elements of Religion

There are some components that are analyzed when characterizing a religion.  These components are:

Institutionalized - Religion is an organization that organizes its activities round certain convictions, practices and emblems that persons set up to response inquiries about life.  In this institution constituents are socialized into the norms of the religion.

Has a Group Feature - Religion is formed by an assembly of individuals retaining alike convictions or who have the identical ideologies about life.  These alike convictions are often what retains the assembly simultaneously and gives their constituents that sense of persona and belonging.

Beliefs are Considered Sacred - Within any belief there are commonly things that are advised sacred or holy.  These holy things can take the pattern of an emblem, like the crucifix that Christians recognize with the crucifixion of Christ or phrases, like the phrases of the Geeta for Hindus.

 These emblems comprise four of the more foremost beliefs of the world.  When any individual of these emblems is glimpsed it mechanically recognizes a certain religion.
