Chapter-I Introduction

Background of the study

As the world is moving with fast pace the business and its activities are becoming more challenging day by day. The factors relating to internal and external environment of business are creating challenges for corporate performance and revenue growth. To become profitable in this challenging business environment the company should manage wisely all the factors of production such as, men/labor, machine and material. Men or human resource pose biggest challenge to business because management of employees is one of the difficult tasks to handle. Motivation in employees is essential in order to gain long term benefits of higher productivity. Motivated employees are valuable asset which create enormous value for the organization in sustaining its business activities and growth in revenue.

Research Problem

An organization can get competitive advantage over others if it manages employees effectively. Motivated employees will lead to improve business and operational performance. The research problem that is going to be addressed through this research is about factors that motivate employees in Real Estate Industry.

Objectives of the Study

The objective of this research is to find out the factors that motivate employees and their effect on Real Estate Industry.

Limitation of the Study

For the purpose of conducting this research, certain limitations have been considered:

Motivation will be the title of the questionnaire, so respondents will give accurate data while filling it.

10 questions are going to be included in the questionnaire.

Group study will be taken into account and their results will be documented.

Definition of Terms

Motivation

It is the internal factor of every employee which directs them toward attainment of goals. According to many theories, humans utilize motivation to satisfy their need in order to mitigate their pains and maximize their pleasure. Many theorists have focus over motivation and tend it with employee satisfaction. Three concepts are used to explain motivation. Intensity, Direction, Persistence: it shows the force with which employee tries, what he wants to achieve, and how long the efforts are maintained for.

Employee Satisfaction

Happiness of employees in relation with their job and working environment can be measured through job satisfaction. Companies can get success if they keep morale of their employees high, as satisfied employee is more productive, take less leaves, and stay focus to his work which shows his loyalty towards the company. Employer can utilize many factors in order to increase employee satisfaction.

Employee performance

For behavior of employees at work performance criteria are standard. The performance of employees is judged in accordance with the set standards from employer.

Chapter-II Literature Review

For achieving success organizations rely upon various resources, techniques or strategies. From capital to employees, all are significant in order to achieve success. Despite these components motivation is also one of the important aspects of business element.
