Introduction

It is a well known fact that any organization, which lives without planning, is vulnerable to an uncertain future, which would be full of ambiguities and doubts. Through careful planning, regardless of the fact that at what it is being done, one can achieve open paths to their ambitions, goals and financial security. Financial environment today presents investment opportunities, both passive and active operations, which are not exploited by ignoring some financial issues and not having any financial planning, which is required to make appropriate decisions that help an organization become more sustainable and grow later. These factors led to the need to study financial planning and its impact on the decision making process of the investor. In this research paper, we will seek to analyze the overall effect of business structures and types in the discretionary financial reporting along with financial planning. Apart from this, forecasting will also be analyzed in this regard. In the second part of this research paper, we will analyze the overall effect of contracting considerations on the discretionary financial reporting along with financial planning. Apart from this, forecasting will also be analyzed in this regard. The purpose of this research paper is to evaluate the relationship among the above mentioned variable sin different market and economic conditions, and how they come into consideration by organization when they are facing difficult financial situations.

Literature review

This section of this research proposal deals with the overview of what we will be trying to achieve from this whole project. in this part of the research proposal, we will be analyzing the above mentioned variables, which will later be used as well for the development of hypotheses and research questions.

Discretionary Financial Reporting

Financial reporting has always played a great role in identifying the overall performance of the organization. On other words, it can be said that the true picture of the firm can be observed by looking at its financial reports. The financial reports of the final product of accounting and reporting is divided into two parts; Special Reports and public reports. In Special Reports, the response to a specific request is reported, where as in public reports, the records are presented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The process of financial reporting has often been under scrutiny for a number of reasons, and laws were also introduced in order to get rid of these problems. Currently discretionary financial reporting is being used as a measure for reporting financial information of the organization.

In this research paper, we will analyze the important and relationship of Discretionary Financial Reporting in accordance with the ownership structure of the organization. This would allow us to examine all types of ownerships structures, and there relationship and effect on the Discretionary Financial Reporting of the organization.
