Abstract

This paper represents proposal regarding identify potential magnitude of water borne diseases outbreaks in London due to climate change. Literature review shows its outbreaks in major part of United Kingdom and it suggest ways of collecting data and analyzing technique for this research.

Introduction

The initial details of the approaches of water filtration dates back to 2000 BC which reveals that hieroglyphics represents using ways of boiling water by putting it on hot water, metal tools, and filtering water through sand and charcoal. These past methodologies are presumed to be considered as to improved the taste of water and, hence, its treatment (Karl TR, Trenberth KE, 2003). Water filtration was improvise and developed with the emergence of the microscope, which enables to make easier to observe debris and contaminants within the water which presumed to be clean with naked eye. The microscope also made enables to identify cholera bacteria within drinking water within era of outbreak of the disease in the 19th century in London. Diseases found to be present in all areas except those one where drinking water is made filtered through sand. It was also made evident that chlorine is crucial for chemical disinfectant which can clear the infected water from chorea. Further, it will also be detected that wether the chlorine, when taken into usage in combination with filtration sand, reveals to be better in the fight against cholera, as well as for several other water-borne diseases such as dysentery and typhoid.

The glimpses of water-borne diseases resulted from micro-organisms that cause disease straightforwardly spread when polluted fresh water consumed. Fresh water which is contaminated that is used in food preparation can be a source of disease which is spread through the consumption of the same microorganisms. As per World Health Organization it reveals that accounts for diarrheal disease shows a 4.1% of total global burden of disease on daily basis, which is a root cause for the deaths of around 1.8 million people every year.

Literature Review

Because of its dependence on water, man has always tried to live near her, but nothing more than water well in the desert. Invented mystical rituals of protection for the water source and reacted with fury and even irrationally to any threats to their reserves. In the Middle Ages were justified because some massacres of Jews were supposed to have been the cause of the Black Death by poisoning wells (Morris, R., 2008). In industrial countries, the power of the people has been replaced by pipes that bring water to homes and take residue.

Almost all our water problems come from the non-separation of its main functions; the dirty water is mixed with pure. Today most people lack adequate supplies of clean water, despite being the most basic human need. About 80 percent of all diseases and over one third of all deaths in developing countries are related to water. Every eight seconds a child dies from a water-related disease (Senhorst HA, Zwolsman JJ, 2005). Each year, more than five million ...
