Abstract

The research paper is about the effect of outdoor play on the child developments. It explains how outdoor activities play an important part in enhancing the abilities of child. The paper explains the physical benefits children can achieve by indulging in outdoor physical activities and how they can improve their cognitive abilities through it. The educational effects of outdoor play are mentioned with an analysis of forest schools. The research will be done with the help of both qualitative and quantitative methods. Children will be interviewed about their perception of outdoor play and its importance and their parents will be asked to fill up questionnaires. The expected result of the study is that there is that outdoor activities build a positive effect on the children learning and help them stay physically active.

Introduction

Outdoor education works as an important tool for the children education. Providing a natural learning environment for children helps them to have an active and fulfilling life. Outdoor education helps in the physical development of the children and their journey-based experiences help them in learning new things. The outdoor educational activities and environmental learning helps the children to develop their understandings on the basis of experimentation and manipulation of the natural world. The outside learning helps the children in improving their social and personal development and helps them in overcoming difficulties. It helps in developing a deep relation and respect for the environment. The use of adventurous activities to enhance children learning's is not new. The outdoor learning is directly linked with the experimental learning model which links direct experience under the supervision of an instructor. Outdoor learning consists of purposeful planning and education process implementation that is risky in some ways. The first years of infant's life and the environment, in which the child lives all helps him or her to know the world according to what is shown to the child. Child's early education is mandatory and parents and siblings should cooperate in their child's activities so that, he/she can know this world and learn things the way it is good for the child.
