Introduction

This is a training document which will entail the security roles of the guards at the shopping malls and centers. The customers in a mall are very segregated because of the dispersion of the shops and lobbies and individual sections. The role of the security guard is to prevent the customers and the shop keepers as well as other employees from any critical situation, theft, vandalism and other illegal activity while maintaining order in the area. The security guards of the mall are also called as Loss Prevention Agents.
