Rights and Responsibilities are the notions which need to be dealt separately, in order to develop a better understanding of the subject. However, both the term rights and responsibilities is it very diverse and cater to a wide array of connotations. However, young people often tend to misinterpret the rights and their responsibilities. Since they are not mature enough therefore they do fail to decipher what exactly is meant by their rights and responsibilities. For any society to evolve it is necessary that the young people of the society do realize what their responsibilities are. As they will be equipped to realize their responsibility, they automatically will come to terms with their rights. Moreover, young people's agency tends to serve as a collective platform for an individual, who is young. Since it tends to serve as a collective platform thus the rights and responsibilities tends to elevate (Schwitzer 2001, p.56).

An individual who is labelled as youth tends to be adhering only to his or her own opinion and hardly listens to the people around him irrespective of what their role is. Therefore at this stage is the authority is forced upon the individual, who tends to pass through the phase identified by experts as 'formative years'. Therefore, in the context of the paper we intend to analyze the notions related to the young people's agency in relation to their rights and responsibilities. Plus, the light will also be shed on the aspect if the adults tend to press upon the authority.
