Role of Education

Introduction

Modern societies are increasingly diverse cultural and religious, among other matters following the intensification of migratory movements. Education is the basic principle for individuals and community success. It is essential to obtain a job with adequate pay and health benefits. Education is essential to economic prosperity of a community: workforce with a quality education attracts world-class work. Citizens have higher expectations with respect to high schools that reflect their values and vision of the future as they deem desirable for the community or simply for their children. Faced with this growing pluralism, the actors in the world of education, practitioners, policymakers, researchers, face a double challenge that affects both teaching standards and practices.

Discussion

My perspective for Education is that it is the foundation of a virtuous life, allows a person to enjoy their personal, economic security and social contribution. According to my perspective, high school is another secondary agent of socialization. It is an institution where learning takes place and individuals develop. They empower the children with high cultural value to the cognitive, affective, ethical, aesthetic, social and motor. Develop the capacity of expression and communication through different languages, verbal and nonverbal movement, music, artistic expression and literature. Furthermore, the families should empower and strengthen their children to be responsible, who are able to use knowledge as a tool to understand and constructively transform their social, economic, environmental and cultural, and of being as active in a changing world. In my opinion, the parents and communities should also help, develop and strengthen each child with study skills, learning and research, individual work and team effort, initiative and responsibility, as conditions for access to employment, higher education and education throughout lifetime. They should teach them to respect the basic right of everyone.

High School Graduation

Academic performance is also reflected in the rates of on-time graduation from high school. The percentage of freshmen who enter high school and graduate four years then rose a few points from 1997 to about 74%. But that still means more than 1 million students each year fail to graduate on time, as reported ...
