CHAPTER 01: INTRODUCTION

Outline of the Thesis

This study has been divided into following sections:

Chapter 01: Introduction

The first section of this research is the introduction. The introduction section will present a background of the study, research questions, purpose of the research, and the focus of the research.

Chapter 02: Literature Review

The second chapter is the literature review of the research. This chapter will provide the theoretical foundation for the research. The literature review section will present a review of different studies that have been conducted on the topic.

Chapter 03: Methodology

The third chapter is the methodology that will present the methodology and the methods of data collection. The methodology chapter will also present research instrument and sample selection.

Chapter 04: Findings and Discussion

The findings and discussion chapter will present the findings of the study that will be derived from the analysis of data. The findings of the research will be supported by discussion.

Chapter 05: Conclusion

In the fifth chapter of this thesis, the conclusion of the research will be presented. The conclusion will be based on both the analysis.

Background of the Study

The Arab world has been influenced by a gigantic upheaval that hit Arab countries in 2010. The tremors in the Arab world began in 2010 as a result of the accumulation for several factors since a long time. The factors included a lack of economic growth, unemployment, social deprivation, social inequalities, oppression, and others. As a result of all these factors, a large number of people gathered to fight for political freedom, democracy, and social freedom. It is believed that the upheaval, taking place in the Arab world, is because of different factors particularly the global information revolution. The upheaval has been spread rapidly into the entire Arab world. The wide spread of the upheaval can be associated with the media. The media provided the entire region with a strong capability to communicate their message to the entire region as well as to the world. As a result of media, the revolution crosses the borders.

What are the key factors that have lead towards the revolution by the social media?

To understand different factors that have lead towards the revolution by the social media
