The Multifaceted Role of the Teacher

The key characteristic of a multifaceted teacher is the total dedication in the field of education. The teacher-student relationship should be established in a harmonious and teachers should create an atmosphere conducive to providing the best education to students and also students at the same time show great enthusiasm for learning your days of classes a day. Moreover, to improve the intelligence quotient in the minds of children the teacher should introduce all the methods of the novel. The teacher must know itself with all students in the class and should try their best level of individual attention to students for all they are doing well in class. The teacher plays an important role in shaping the character of each child, in general, since most of the time the children are with the teacher, apart from being at home than school time. This feature is best explained with the help of the following quote, "If wealth is lost nothing is lost, if health is lost something is lost if character is lost, everything is lost." It is also essential that teachers should try to cultivate the students' civic sense and that our society should be guaranteed free of contamination environment in the nearest future (Brighouse, 2008, 313).

Punctuality is another feature that the teacher is responsible for helping pupils and explains the importance of time factor, which is the extreme need of the hour, especially in a phase of rapid movement of ours. Be punctual to school is also a kind of discipline that cannot be violated at any cost. Teachers must develop better and innovative ways to exploit the potentialities that are latent in all children, particularly if the child is an introvert; these methods help teachers a lot. Therefore, teachers help in raising positive thoughts in the minds of their students and not by adopting an optimistic outlook on life. Teachers have to introduce value-based education in the school curriculum to help children to enrich and shape their social behaviour and adopt themselves to various circumstances of life. Therefore, it is imperative on the part of schools to create space for spirituality and spread through appropriate channels and therefore the spiritual environment should also be given weight age so that the mind is relaxed in an environment very quiet(Rasinski, 2005, 109).

It is essential that spirituality must be developed in the incipient stage itself so that it cannot be left behind in any aspect of life. Physical education also should be given great importance, since a strong and sound mind in a healthy body there is one and the maximum of sound mind in a healthy body aptly applies here. Sometimes teachers need to be tactful to coordinate the activities of all children, which will result in a united effort. Hence the importance of unity can be noted at this point.
