Deviance is a concept of sociology designating non-compliant behavior to social norms. Deviance is created by society, in other words, social deviance is socially constructed and in this sense means that social groups create deviance by making the rules or norms whose violation constitutes social deviance. Therefore, social deviance is a consequence of the application of the other rules does the offender. The category of "deviance" is sufficiently homogeneous to mean something in itself. Certainly, everyone can immediately quote a list of deviant behavior.

Yet there is no direct relationship between theft, homicide, breach of politeness or etiquette, dangerous, eccentric clothing and drug use. In addition, what is now regarded as deviant was at another moment in history. In fact, the common point of all these behaviors is indirect: it is the fact that they are condemned by various social norms, or not recognized by law, shared to varying degrees in the different groups that make up a company at some point in its history.

Indeed, virtually all of our social life is organized by standards. We see easily the ones that are more stringent, those whose offense carries a legal penalty. But the definition of good and evil is not the monopoly of law. There are a multitude of social norms no less compelling though not legal. Family norms may impose such children without ever having been set. And noncompliance penalties may be physical but also psychological: the most banal is probably the guilt. Similarly, in social life and in everyday life, there are things that "are" and others who "do not do" the punishment can be as much or even more dissuasive.

Socialization is the process by which individuals become members of a community, acquiring systems of meaning and patterns of behavior in it consolidated and skills and competencies required to perform multiple social roles. This is therefore a process that is crucial both for individuals (for their training and placing in normal social relationships) and for the fate of the company, for capacity of the social system to reproduce the conditions of its existence, securing the survival from one generation to another.

With the socialization of cultural patterns are transmitted through learning and internalization. Socialization is conventionally distinguished in primary and secondary socialization, but continues throughout the life of the individual. It is spread through the mechanisms psychological imitation, identification and reward / punishment .The primary socialization covers the early years of a child's life, usually roughly until they reach school age and is the basis for any future form of socialization.
