It has been long debated and deliberated as to which systems tends to yield the best and most effective genres of quality education and understanding for students to dwell and work upon. Schooling an issue in the field of education, with a growing body of research pointing toward the continued prevalence of gender inequality in the classroom. Although there has been a longstanding debate about whether a single-sex or mixed-sex environment is better for each gender in many Western countries, there is still a major portion of the world, especially the East, where the existing masses still practice in primitive, contemporary intends to make way for opting towards the conventional system of schooling and teaching (Blessing, 2005).

Although there is no end to this discussion and in many instances where authors have highlighted and yielded any evidence which system tends of give out the most effective results, the choice entirely depends upon the upbringing of a particular individual. The society and the environment, where the student or pupil grows is a pre-requisite of how the individual shall excel in academic and extra-curricular activities or be taught either in a single-sex system or a coed system. In addition to this, the choice of the parent and their evaluation regarding their offspring is thoroughly important, whether they would excel in a particular genre, area or field of study (Davis, 2000).

Gender equality is one core component that needs to be evaluated, undertaken for the purpose and objective of providing equal opportunity for the purpose and objective of providing equal educational opportunities to individuals in class and on campus.
