Outline of the Study

This study will base on the topic “Smart phone” and in particular the methods to market the smart phone. This proposal will contain the relative evaluation and the quantitative analysis on the best method of the marketing of the smart phones. This method will be effective for manufacturers in gaining the highest market share. The buzz which was created in the market mass communism and the smart phone manufacturers have take control of communication and the mode of communication by which people interact with each other.

Background of the Smart Phone

The smart phone emergence was on the ground basis of the perception that if a mechanism can accelerates the initial functions of the personal computers; those functions if incorporated in the mobile phones will work wonders. Cell phones were forced to face tough sales in the year 2008 because of the recession (Dufau, et.al, 2011, Pp. 2-4). The smart phones were the light in the dark for the mobile manufacturers. According to analysis, the demand of the phones was increasing, and their market share was expected to increase more. Thus, the idea of the smart phones was evolved so that the extra features and a compact version can ensure the sales and the demand of the phones. Smart phone is an upgraded version of the traditional featured mobile phones. The first mobile phone initially combined with it the function of a personal digital assistant (PDA).

Furthermore, the feature of the portable media players was implanted in the phones. Later, the digital camera, pocket video camera and navigation units were added in the features of the smart phone to make it a complete multi use. In addition, many smart phones have incorporated touch screens and the web browsers to make them more compact for the users. Simultaneously, the wifi feature along with the customized mobile phone web pages and messengers were launched by the mobile brands. Mobile brands have launched their own operating systems so that the phones can work more efficiently and functions can perform better and comply with the reason for which they are made (Dufau, et.al, 2011, Pp. 2-4).

Mobile phones have become an important part of everyone's life. Their usability has increased their demand. Now the mobile phones are not only the communication portal; however, with the complexity of the lives, the typical mobile phones have been altered to the modern smart phones. The idea of the smart phones is to provide ease in the lives of the users because of the emerging nature of time effectiveness. The competition of the smart phones has led to the variety of features.
