Introduction

The topic under study assembles a portfolio of several media clippings that illustrate the concepts of social psychology. The clippings attached include three terms with each clip; that demonstrate the concept shown in the clipping. Moreover, topic includes the definition of each term, which associates with, any of the clipping. Furthermore, it includes description of the association of terms and the clipping. The sociological concepts that used in the study include; Aggressive Behavior, Attitude, Body Language, Altruism, Passion, Distinctive, Abusive supervision, Affect, Forewarning, Friendship, Debriefing, Group, Forgiveness, Empathy, Proximity, Unrequited love, Intimacy, Loneliness, Ostracism, Trivialization, introspection.

Definition of Concepts

Aggressive Behavior

Aggressive behavior refers to an attack (physically or verbally) to things or animals. There are several explanations why it comes to aggression. Thus, there is the theory that aggression is an innate instinct of every human being, but may be more or less pronounced. Other theories suggest that aggression is the result of negative experiences (frustrations). Moreover, the theory has long been circulating that a man is more aggressive, the more contact he had with other violent individuals. Even the media would incite violence glorifying representations with their aggression.

Attitude

Attitude can be defined as all elements of personal assessment that individual posses in respect of characteristics or attributes. It considered that the attitude consists of three types of elements. A cognitive element, which relates or, exhibits an individual's behavior over certain situations. These elements include the emotional feelings towards the situations. Cognitive elements consist of the intentions of proven actions with regard to different situations that an individual come across.

Body Language

Body language includes conscious or unconscious movement of a body part or the whole body, to send a message. Cultural and environmental differences play a pivotal role in the use of body language. Body language also demonstrates an individual's behavior and attitude towards certain situations. For instance, a dull body language at workplace signifies that the person is not feeling well or not sincere to work or whatever the reason might be, it signifies that the person is not giving his/ her hundred percent to work. Similarly, Body language plays a pivotal role to explain the seriousness of the topic under study.
