Introduction

Soil Pollution is the loss of soil quality and quantity. This may be due to various processes: erosion, salinization, pollution, drainage, acidification, and loss of soil structure, or a combination of these. The most significant degradation process is the loss of soil by water, wind and mass movements or, more locally, the action of vehicles and the trampling of human and animals.
