IntroductionImportance of collaboration among teaching colleagues

Language is one of the most complex mental processes. Language disorder means having difficulties in verbal and non verbal communication skills. In children, they are usually due to congenital problems, hereditary factors or etiological or physiological factors. Collaboration among teaching colleagues is important as it is a factor in the processes that bring about change in the life of special children, as it aims to find ways and techniques to cater to their needs and shape and build their personality. Collaboration among teaching colleagues conceptualizes to address such children's issues.

Through collaboration one is able to develop skills regarding new programs concerning language disorders. The main aim is to develop in children the capacity for communication, so that effective learning of literacy and greater understanding of the problems posed can be resolved. Collaboration between teaching colleagues is important as it further aims to expect that students express themselves orally with clarity, coherence and simplicity. It also aims to be able to implement appropriate strategies that help special children to obtain an education that considers necessary for them to learn. The aim is to treat such children, and make them live a healthy life and collaboration with teaching colleagues strives and aims to achieve this. (Varma, 2006).

This is why it is essential to foster techniques to strengthen their relationship. These techniques include find ways for parents/ guardians to communicate with the child intelligently, which will help in not only strengthening their relationship but also help in diagnosing their child's disorder if any exists. Further taking into account the parents/ guardians feelings and respecting them as well which will help in making the relationship healthier. Finding ways to increase their level of trust is another technique that plays a major role in fostering strong parent/ guardian relationships. Recognition of efforts and parental support, despite the poor performance or oral or written numeracy, are a key to a positive development of children experiencing learning disabilities.
