Understanding the Factors Contributing To Sports and Exercise Safety
Introduction
Exercise and sports in one of most liked phenomenon for everyone, and will help keep a person fit and fine both physically and psychologically. The practice of physical activity may enhance coordination, fitness and self-esteem of a person and provides an excellent opportunity to learn teamwork and gain self-discipline. However, because the body of every human is vulnerable to several exercise and sports procedures, which can injured an athlete during exercise or playing. Each year around million of people become victim of sports and exercise injuries while playing sports. Researches has documented that majority of such injuries can be avoided if certain methods and procedures are followed. Past studies have indicated several procedures to follow which needed to be updated with the passage of time because of consistent changes in the exercise and sports procedures. This study in this connected will attempt to analyze and understand different factors that can contribute in making sports and exercise environment safe and secure.
Aim of the study
The aim of this study is to identify the safety procedures that will help in preventing the injuries related to sports and exercise.
Research Questions
This research in accordance with the nature of the subject will attempt to answer the following questions:
What are the factors important in making sports and exercise safe?
What are the safety procedures that can help sports man/athletes from injuries?
To what extent injuries are affecting athletes/sports man health, career and personal life?
Scope of this study
This study will help in identifying contemporary procedures that will encourage safety in sports and exercise and will minimize the injuries related to it. The research will help sports and exercise trainer in promoting safety during practices sessions and events. Moreover, limited number of researches focusing this aspect has increased the importance of the subject. The findings of this research will not only contribute the existing literature on the subject, but will also identify areas which needed to be addressed in context of the subject under study.

Clothing and safety equipment:
Safety gear should be sport-specific and may include items such as goggles, mouth guards, elbow pads, knee pads, shin guards and helmets for. The safety gear worn by a child should fit properly. In addition, sports equipment (such as bats, baskets, and goals) should be in good condition and any damage must be repaired or the equipment must be replaced. In the play area there should be no waste or water.
Physical examination
To ensure that your child is physically able to participate in a specific sport, your child's physician should conduct a "sports physical." These physicals can reveal the strengths and weaknesses of your child's physical and help determine which sports are appropriate. Most sports physicals for children include a health examination that measures height, weight and vital signs, and an examination of the eyes, nose, ears, chest and abdomen. In addition, your child's physician may perform an orthopedic examination to check joints, bones and muscles.
