Discussion

The penalties of Al-Qaeda strikes have been diverse and very drastic compared to the attacks of other terrorist organizations. The influence on the finances has been very large because Al-Qaeda conducts its attacks on a very large scale meaning to create the most impairment as are against to other less significant terrorist assemblies that mount short and lesser terrorist attacks. Another example of a terrorist strike of the Al-Qaeda group would have been of the bombings of the American embassy in Tanzania and Kenya in 1999. In those attacks over 200 persons were slain, mostly innocent bystanders and this displays that Al-Qaeda is not concerned about who they murder as long as they strike fear in people's hearts. Another assault on Western interests by Al-Qaeda was the attack on the USS Cole, an American airplane carrier stationed in South Yemen. Nineteen American servicemen past away when a vessel full of explosives rammed into the carrier.
