Star Trek (2009), directed by J.J Abrams, was an attempt to modify the original franchise dating back to the mid/late 1960's. Its modification was an effort to appeal this motion picture to the new modern generation. With this, the director J.J Abrams did an incredible job. While the original franchise appealed mostly to a science fiction audience only, this modernized version also appeals to an audience in interest of action and adventure making it much more enjoyable.
