Introduction

In the business world, we often find many concepts that created to help us better understand certain aspects within the business. One of these concepts and a useful indeed for the information it throws at us the working environment. Also, the work environment refers to a stable set of characteristics over time, on interpersonal relationships and relationships between people and business. This Leadership refers to the type of relationship between managers and subordinates and the impact of training in the workplace, and therefore, in achieving the objectives of each company.

One of the main contributions in the field of strategic management in recent years is to stress the importance of top management in formulating the strategy and the effectiveness or performance of the firm. In this context, the formulation of the strategy is the result of senior management and leadership style has an important role on the design and implementation of the strategy.

Strategic management has included a wide range of topics, such as features and factors influencing the decision-making relationship between the decision making process and effectiveness of the firm; rationality of decision-making process; centralization, formalization and standardization in making strategic decisions, politicization of decision-making influence of the senior management team in strategic decision making, environmental influences on decision making, conflict and decision quality, speed decision making, level of commitment of individuals and units, and fairness of decision-making process.

From this perspective, the challenge is to link not only directly lead to efficiency, but required to assess the influence of leadership on decision-making process and hence the formulation and implementation of the strategy. Consequently, an important theoretical and empirical gap to close in the field of strategic direction is to develop an integrative model to identify the impact of leadership style on certain behavioural variables of the process of strategic decision making and its subsequent effects on the design and implementation of the strategy (Roberts, 1993).

Strategic leader sets the vision, direction, background and context of the growing success of the corporation, as well as initiate and encourage revolutionary thinking, entrepreneurial creativity and radical innovation to create the conditions for future growth. The strategic leader not engaged in micro-management business strategies. Rather, it creates an umbrella under which the company formulates appropriate strategies and creates economic value.

Strategic management plays a pivotal role in the successful use of modest achievement. In order to allow functional experts to make the greatest contribution, managers must look at its functions and broader understanding of how they integrated into the organizational processes and, ultimately, into the corporate strategy. Leadership should be aware that their primary goal is to create economic value for participants in the business, and the best way to create it is a continuous focus on maintaining a sustainable competitive advantage as the key to creating economic value (Bryson, 2002).
