Introduction

In the opening chapter of the book of revelation, John confirms that he is the Apostle of Christ. The chapter goes on to confirm that Jesus was sent to earth to warn humanity of the dire consequences of moral decay. The opening chapters of the book reveal how calamity will befall humanity if they do not pay heed to the word of God. It glorifies and exalts Christ as the one who has come to warn humanity of the just Wrath of God.

Discussion

Chapter 1

In the opening chapter of the book of revelation, John confirms that he is the Apostle of Christ. He then cites certain events that will unfold in the future and which will be the harbinger of the end of days.

Chapter 2

In this chapter, the messages to the 7 churches are introduced which are the revelations of God. The entire chapter revolves around the discussion of the seven churches and the doctrine of the church.

Chapter 3

This chapter consists of the three final messages of Christ which he delivered to the Asian churches.

Chapter 4

In this chapter, John introduces the believer to the Throne of God in the heavens.

Of the rapture of the church. It also glorifies and exalts Christ, proclaiming him to be the savior of humanity.

Chapter 5

This chapter reveals the church in the heavens - a term which is used to refer to the Throne of God in the heavens. Therefore, the chapter reveals Jesus as the glorified and exalted one who came to warn humanity of the dire consequences of moral decay.

Chapter 6

This chapter talks about the opening of the seals of the book which represents the deed. This book looks like it was designed, by the way of saying, as a deed that would seal. It could be the writing of the planet Earth, that Adam yielded to Satan and Jesus has redeemed. He takes back the deed and save all that was lost. Therefore the chapter talks about how hell will be unleashed as a result of absence of moral and ethical foundation of the gospel and the Word of God.

Chapter 7

This chapter follows the events of the previous chapter in which the happenings of the first six seals have been discussed.
