Introduction

Grant Wiggins and Jay McTighe are the authors of "Understanding by Design '. According to the authors the goal of a teacher is to impart knowledge to students. On the teaching for understanding, teachers want their students to demonstrate their enduring understanding. Teachers find out how their students understand instructional design through a series of assessments. However, the assessment of student understanding "are truly important and difficult task" because there are many different ways to understand, they overlap, but not can be reduced to each other has many facets and features of understanding.
