Introduction

With the advancement in every field of life, man is also trying to advance his ways in the field of education. For this purpose he is always trying to come up with thing new that could make some difference and help him to improve the ways of learning things. Papers were used to store the data in face of books in the past days but today the time has changed because man has found a way to make the field of education more comprehensive by the use of technology. Technology has made these processes of learning easier for different people.

Topic

This paper addresses different ways of integrating technology and the common core English Language Arts Standards.

The Issue

In today's era, one of the most drastic changes in the field of education is the increase in number of students and the number of fields to study. Among these major fields of studies, English language is also one of them. Among the increase in number of students in the study of English majority are those who have English as their secondary language. And for this reason they face some problems during the course of their process. Keeping this issue in mind solutions were introduced in face of integrating technology in learning environment. Hence this paper will discuss the integration of technology in common core English Language Arts Standards.

Aims and Objectives

The primary aim of the study is to know the integration of technology and English Language Arts Standards.

Moreover, the study will strive to understand, as though what factors cause the need of technology in the field of English Language Arts Standards.

Most important, with the help of this study we will get to know the different ways of integration of technology in English Language Arts Standards.

Hypothesis

H1: Integration of technology and the common core English Language Arts Standards have made easy and interesting for the people to learn English.

HA: It denotes the rejection of proposed hypothesis.

Literature Review

Learning technologies have played an important role in the teaching of English from the 60s. The commonly known Call (stands for Computer Assisted Language Learning, ie learning computer assisted language), was one of the first attempts to incorporate computers in the classroom for the teaching of English, which most of cases were used to develop activities of the methodologies commonly used at that time.

From the perspective of learning theory, there are three major influences in instructional design with technology in English Language Arts Standards: behaviorist, cognitive and constructivist (Barbour et.al, 2007). As already shown, from the sixties, learning technologies based on behaviorism showed that it is possible to achieve substantial increases in test scores by stimulus-response process in computer-assisted instruction.
