Introduction

According to the United Nations, In U.S the rate of teenagers getting pregnant is almost nine times higher than any of the other developed country. The figure has been lowered down since 2000, but still it is quite high to be an issue and needs attention. In Unites States, roughly 1,100 teenage girls give birth to a baby every single day. This means that one out of every 10 woman giving birth is a teenager. If all is combined, then it is known that all teen pregnancies cost taxpayers nearly $9 billion per year.
