Introduction

Even with a gradually waning adolescent birth rate, two young women in five becoming pregnant before the age of twenty, and this is not it, there are almost four young women out of five who got pregnant unintentionally, counting about half of those among married teenage girls. Keeping the circumstances on the other side, but the fact is that the news of getting pregnant never welcomed by the teenage women and these women normally got shock from such news. The unforeseen development in the teenage girls leads their lives to turmoil, where the girl forced to make the decision which might be considered as one of the most memorable decision of her life (Watkins, 2009). However, the two important decisions in this regard linked with two major questions. One is that whether to carry baby or not, almost 50% of the teenage women carry the pregnancy, or she want to terminate or abort the pregnancy.

The ration of the teenage girls getting pregnant is alarming, however, at this time, the important is concern is to find the reasons that beside knowing the fact that getting pregnant at this early stage of life is seriously harmful to mental and physical health but yet they taking this step. Therefore, it means that somewhere something is wrong that need to be addressed. Another important point that need to be considered that each and every case must be taken on individuality basis because every teenage mother had a different story, therefore, the case must be consider on individuality basis (Frick, 2007).

Research Question

Research question considered to be the most critical part of the whole research because all of the research will revolves around a single question; therefore, the researcher developed the research question with careful analysis.

How do teenagers who have experienced pregnancy describe their sexual history?

The reason behind developing such a research question is the urge of the researcher to find out the different opinions because the general view regarding the teenage mothers is that by mistake or unintentionally they got pregnant. Therefore, in this research, the researcher will actually go for the literature that whether the evidence and experience of teenage mothers proved that all what happened was unintentional and by mistake.

Sub-Questions

Beside the main research question, the researcher two sub-questions that will help the researcher to keep focus on the specific areas during the research course;

What is the role of parents in the critical issue?

Are there any physical or mental disorders linked with the sexual history of the teenage pregnancy?

Projected Outcomes

As already mentioned that the purpose of this researcher is to highlight the sexual experiences of the teenagers who getting pregnant. Therefore, based on that the projected outcomes of the research will be to look for the different experiences and the reasons that actually pushed the teenage girls towards the crucial decision.
