Terrorism in America

This paper addresses chapter five “point of terrorism” from the book Terrorism in America by Kevin Borgeson and Robin Valeri. The term counterterrorism is referred as the techniques, practices, strategies, and tactics that are used by the governments, corporations, security departments like military or police in response to the threats or activities by the terrorists either real or imputed. The history exposes that due to ineffective counterterrorism strategies we have to suffer the cost in terms of human lives, wealth and opportunity loss.
