Introduction

Death of a Salesman is a play by the playwright and author Arthur Miller. It is seen by many as an attack on the American dream of progress in life without considering the ethical principles. It opposes the tragedy of Aristotle. The received the Pulitzer in 1949 and won the Tony Award and in New York for this piece of literature.
