The aim of this report is to carry out a wide-span study in the proposed development. A&M Project Management Consultancy Ltd will be represented as the client's Project Manager, therefore, this report will commence with the PM's roles and obligations. This will then be followed by an Impact Study of the proposals, and examination of the Standardisation and Pre-assembly. Section 4 provides an insight into the NEC3 contractual options, in particular the notion of Compensation Events. Section 5 deals with the current issue of environment, specifically, the pursuit of an Environmentally Friendly Strategy. The business element of the study follows in section 6, with an examination of the employment of Joint Ventures, looking at its risks and benefits. Section 7 examines the possibility of adjustments to the programme, in particular where the contractor falls behind schedule. Finally, the report concludes with a Method Statement and corresponding Construction Programme for the Civil Engineering elements of the proposal. Based on the sections mentioned above, the report finds the proposal to be favourable for development. The development can be a major focus of attraction to both the local and regional area, bringing in further tangible benefits that have not been examined in depth within this report. In light of this, A&M Project Management Consultancy Ltd would recommend the client under take a further study, taking the proposal to the next stage and examine the funding options and a full feasibility report. The client wishes to pursue proposals for a Leisure Park development at Junction 22 on the M66 motorway. In the mid 1930s the site was used for gravel extraction. These operations ceased prior to 1939 and during the war years subsequently the site was used as a tip. The tipping ceased in the mid 1950s. Within the development contains Ruddigore House. This is an 18th century manor house and is a Grade A listed building, and is currently owned by the National Trust.
