Introduction

The following study will analyze and examine the research studies and will also provide the various details about how the summer school and classes affect the student achievements. The following research has been carried out by the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills Tests which will help in measuring the impact of summer school on the attainment and achievements of students. This research study is conducted to examine the effects of summer school on student achievement as measured by the Texas assessment of knowledge and skills tests. This Chapter presents the research findings of this study.

The first section of this chapter presents the findings of demography of the respondents. The second section of this chapter presents the findings of description of results in terms of the population sample. The last section of this chapter presents the findings of correlation analysis. To analyze the effects of summer school on student achievement as measured by the Texas assessment of knowledge and skills tests the data set of math and reading test scores from 2007-2010 is used.
