These fossil fuels are not only of immense importance, but they are also non renewable and once they are all used up, nothing can bring them back. It is therefore important to make the people of earth realize the importance and significance of these natural resources, in order to ensure that they are properly managed and utilized, and their alternatives are used wherever and whenever possible. The movie A Crude Awakening: The Oil Crash was directed by Basil Gelpke and Ray McCormack in an attempt to make the world realize the importance if these fossil fuels and to highlight the ways in which our lives would be affected after these resources have come to an end. The following paragraphs highlight the importance of these fossil fuels and also focus on the issues that are expected to arise when oil would be all used up.
