A team is defined as “a group of people brought together to use their complementary skills to achieve a common purpose for which they are collectively accountable” (Arin, September 19, 2010). The case The Forgotten Group Member shows the reader how teams fall apart due to a lack of communication. This case proves that knowing how to lead a team is just as important as being a part of the team. It is important to realize that not only does a leader have a responsibility to a team but also the members have to be involved in order for a project to be complete accurately and effectively. A team is a group of individuals who cooperate to achieve a single result.

Group Development
