ABSTRACT

The subject studied in this research pertains to the impact of the availability of the international brands of motorcycles on the production and sales of the local motorcycle brands in the country. The thesis basically aims to research and review the customers' consumption behaviour regarding the purchase of bikes. For this purpose, the Indian motorcycle industry is considered and surveyed. The study applies a quantitative method of research and analyses and concludes the results with the help of interviews of Indian bike users.
