In Khaled Hosseini's novel The Kite sprinter, there is a powerful sense of friendship. The bond between two young afghan young men, one being a domestic Hassan and the other his superior Amir, verify to be a tough yet a beneficial companionship. Although the two young men cannot obstacle their way through class differences, their sentiments in the direction of each other, whereas not clear, are undoubtedly friends. The relationship between Amir and Hassan in The Kite Runner is a good example of how difficult it can be to befriend other persons of other classes.
