Introduction

Iran's possession of nuclear power and its practice of nuclear program has always been a very argumentative discussion and no one has given a final; verdict on this matter. Various views are shared on this matter; some say that the development of the nuclear power in Iran is just to help in finding medical reactors and to produce electricity without using oil, so that oil is preserved as a source of export. On the contrary it is argued that the American and the European officials believe that nuclear power in Iran is being used for the production of nuclear weapons. However, due to a series of indecisive meetings and constant delays in reaching to a firm decision, it has been assumed that the meetings were just proposed and held so that Iran could give more time to the production and development of its nuclear weapons. This issue has led to a belief that now these activities can only be stopped through a governmental change and that America's reaction towards Iran is understandable.

There have been various efforts made to counter this unresolved matter, but none of them really led to a solution. The P5+1 along with the other forces were unable to force Iran to stop its uranium enrichment program.
